- 2,700 Christmas hampers of exclusively local products
- It will buy all the products in the Christmas hampers it distributes over the festive season from producers and artisans in Burgos.
- The project was launched last year in Tudela and will be replicated in other areas where the Group is present.
After the good reception in 2021 was in Navarra Christmas with Social Impact contest and true to its commitment to trade and local business, UVESA Group has decided this year to activate the tender for SMEs in Burgos and its area of influence. With this gesture UVESA report approximately 100,000 euros to the local economy, one of the sectors hardest hit by the pandemic and global issues.
The intention is to purchase from these local businesses and suppliers the products that will supply the 2,700 Christmas hampers to be distributed among employees of the UVESA Group centres in Tudela, Malaga, Rafelbunyol, Alcácer, Cuéllar, Valladolid and Burgos.
Interested companies may send their proposals via email comunicacioninterna@uvesa.es from today until September 19 indicating, among other things, the food product offered with a minimum shelf life until April 2023, format, capacity and price, which should not exceed 6 euros. For logistical and storage reasons, the products must be non-perishable and kept at room temperature. The winners will be announced between 22 and 26 September.
There will also be a special category aimed at companies and professional artisans for the creation of a piece of craftwork that will also form part of the Christmas hamper, as was the case last year. The project will be replicated annually in all areas where UVESA Group has a presence: Malaga, Rafelbunyol and Alcàcer, Cuellar and Valladolid, Casarrubios del Monte (Toledo) and Burgos.
