25 october 2017. For the second year in a row, the UVESA Group sponsors the Uvesa Ribera Tour, organized by the Ribera Navarra Foundation and the Ribera Navarra Fs Club, in order to promote and promote indoor football and healthy habits among schoolchildren.
The objective is to visit 30 educational centers in La Rioja, Navarre and Aragon. The Aspil-Vidal Primera Division players have been active in the public school Monte San Julián and in the month of October.
Thanks to this initiative, the Aspil-Vidal First Division players will visit about thirty schools and football schools in La Rioja, Navarre and Aragon. We started on October 11 with the students of the Third Elementary School of the public school Monte San Julián d e Tudela and today with the school Huertas Mayores in Tudela.
The children, led by trainer José Lucas Mena “Pato”, have learned techniques like driving the ball or shooting at the door, among others. Then the schoolchildren have asked the players and taken pictures with them. In addition, they have received a T-shirt, a diploma for their participation and a talk by the trainer on healthy habits.
The purpose of the meetings is to convey to children the positive messages of football and sport in general, encourage them to practice and to play sporty and healthy habits. It is also intended to bring them closer to the values of effort and teamwork, to promote the practice of fair play, to foster attitudes of integration and to educate in commitment, discipline and solidarity
