The 22nd AER Awards will be presented on Wednesday 18 September in the Juan Antonio Ducun Auditorium in Ribaforada.

Tudela (Navarra), 9 September 2024 – José Lainez Jiménez, who for more than four decades was director of the UVESA Group’s poultry processing plant in Tudela, has been recognised for his entire professional career at the 22nd edition of the AER Awards given by the Asociación Empresa Ribera (AER), which will be presented on Wednesday 18 September in the Juan Antonio Ducun Auditorium in Ribaforada.

Lainez began working for the company in 1966 and for 43 years held the position of director of the poultry processing plant in Tudela. After his departure in 2015, he joined the company’s Board of Directors. During his management, UVESA experienced significant growth and expansion, new plants were created in Valencia, Cuéllar (Segovia) and Malaga, consolidating the company’s presence in different parts of the country.

In addition, UVESA was a pioneer in the presentation of packaged and processed chicken meat, which allowed the company to serve the main distribution chains as it became established in Spain.
