- The Ribera Navarra FS players have visited ten schools in Tudela, Fontellas, Cascante and Cabanillas.
- In total, around 800 schoolchildren have had the opportunity to spend a few hours with these sports professionals.
The end of the school year also brings with it the end of the fourth edition of the Uvesa Alpico 2023 Tour, an initiative of the Uvesa Group and the Ribera Navarra futsal club started in 2017 to promote sport and healthy habits among schoolchildren in the region.
Since last March, a delegation of First Division players from Ribera Navarra FS and members of its technical team have visited ten schools in Tudela and La Ribera, offering students a talk to present the Club, its alliance with Grupo Uvesa and its Alpico brand, and the importance of eating healthy and practising sport.
In addition, the members of the Ribera team shared some personal experiences such as combining sport and studies, having a family far away or their eating and resting habits. This year, the professionals of the orange team have highlighted the good behaviour of the children in all the visits, as well as their participation and curiosity when it comes to asking them questions.
The most practical part, in the centres where it has been possible, has consisted of a couple of circuits with a ball and a small game. And in all of them there was an autograph session and a group photo. In total, around 800 primary school pupils, most of them, but also secondary and nursery school pupils, were able to enjoy the presence of these sports professionals.
In Tudela, the Ribera players visited the Huertas Mayores, Griseras, Compañía de María, Anunciata, San Julián, Elvira España and Jesuitas schools. They have also visited the Virgen del Rosario de Fontellas, San Juan de Jerusalén de Cabanillas and Santa Vicenta María de Cascante.
