– In total, more than 800 schoolchildren have had the opportunity to share a few hours with these sports professionals.
The Uvesa-Alpico Tour, an initiative of the Uvesa Group and the Ribera Navarra futsal club that began in 2017 to bring the values of sport, healthy eating and good lifestyle habits to young people, is coming to an end for another year.
During these months, a delegation of First Division players from Ribera Navarra FS and members of its technical team have visited ten educational centres in Aragón, La Rioja and Navarra, sharing experiences, advice and fundamental values for personal and professional development.
In total, more than 800 schoolchildren have received these talks, in which the players have shared the importance of eating a balanced diet, staying active, looking after their wellbeing and working with perseverance to achieve their goals.
These professionals have highlighted the excellent reception of all the centres, their involvement and, especially, the attention and enthusiasm of their students. In short, an educational experience from which they have all learned a lot.
The schools visited were: CEIP Joaquín Costa and CEIP Moncayo in Tarazona (Aragón); IES Gonzalo de Berceo in Alfaro (La Rioja); CP Santa Vicenta María in Cascante; CP Juan de Palafox in Fitero; CP San Juan de Jerusalén in Cabanillas; and Colegio Monte San Julián, CEIP Huertas Mayores, Anunciata and Compañía de María, in Tudela.
