May 2014- A total of 70 poultry farmers in the areas of Aragon, Navarra, La Rioja and Soria, participated in the four training sessions that have been made in the processing plant Bird Uvesa in Tudela, during the months of March, April, May and June 2012.
The content of this conference has focused on training on biosafety, cleaning and disinfection plan, management and food security and issues related to the final quality.
The aim was to provide a vision for the future of the sector to better optimize their resources and expand their knowledge about new trends animal welfare and health, so that all this is in improving the quality of its chickens.
During these days, they have had the opportunity to visit the processing plant in Tudela Uvesa Bird, led by the director and the production manager. All participants have been given a certificate of attendance at these educational talks.
Uvesa is already working on the contents of the formations of 2013, as this experience has been assessed as very positive by the participants, so it will continue in the coming years.
