Uvesa Group launches the “Christmas with social impact project” contest
  • 2700 Christmas hampers of exclusively local products
  • It will buy all the products in the Christmas hampers it distributes over the festive season from Navarrese producers and artisans.
  • This initiative will be replicated in the coming years in the areas where the Group is present.

True to its commitment to trade and local business, UVESA Group has launched the contest Christmas Project Social Impact Project aimed at SMEs located in the catchment area of Tudela and Ribera that have been affected by the pandemic.

The intention is to purchase from these local businesses and suppliers the products that will supply the 2,700 Christmas hampers that will be distributed among the employees of all the Group’s plants and which will represent a contribution of approximately 100,000 euros to the local economy.

Interested companies can send their proposals by e-mail to comunicacioninterna@uvesa.es from today until 17 September, indicating, among other things, the food product they are offering with a minimum shelf life of one year, format, capacity and price, which should not exceed 6 euros. The winners will be announced on 24 September.

There is also a special category aimed at artisan companies and professionals for the creation of a piece of craftwork that will also form part of the Christmas hamper, as was the case last year.

UVESA Group and last year opted for local products to promote and help trade in the areas where it is located. In total 2700 baskets with products from more than forty producers who, thanks to this initiative, received a commercial and economic injection after months of uncertainty.
