- 1,100 infant and primary schoolchildren from 25 schools in Navarre will take part.
Uvesa Group and the catering company Gourmetfood have resumed their educational alliance started 5 years ago with the aim of transmitting healthy habits among children. With this joint action, the project “Small gestures that change the world” is once again underway, with which 1,100 infant and primary schoolchildren from 25 schools in Navarre will learn, throughout the school year, the importance of caring for the planet.
Last Friday, the 21/22 edition opened at CEIP Otero de Navascués in Cintruénigo, where 63 schoolchildren took part and followed the instructions of the Gourmetfood monitors to contribute to the conservation of the environment. The pupils learned how to create bioplastics and made an activity booklet and an explanatory mural that will remain in the school throughout the school year. They also learned about the importance of using cloth bags, avoiding single-use plastics and taking advantage of bartering to reduce waste generation.
