Uvesa presents its novelties in the 3rd book of Vitartis “Food of the future”

November 6, 2018.- Grupo UVESA has collaborated with an article in the third book of the Future Foods collection published by the Association of the Food Industry of Castilla y León, Vitartis. The volume, which was presented in Valladolid on October 16, analyzes the trends of the sector and discloses concrete cases of innovation carried out by industries, technology centers and universities.

In its article entitled Gama Pollo Antaño, the traditional flavor, Grupo UVESA discusses its latest innovations in poultry. Among the most recent is the development of this range of old-time chicken with slow-growing birds and 100% vegetable feed.

Regarding the elaborated ones, in 2018 UVESA has launched four new products on the market: marinated escalopines, breast strips with vegetables (red, green and yellow peppers, carrots and broccoli), breast medallions and garlic chops and parsley. In addition, in September 2017, it executed important investments in an elaborated and frozen plant in Casarrubios del Monte.

With the biennial edition of Alimentos del futuro 2018, Vitartis will have announced more than a hundred innovation cases in the associated industries. A total of 25 analyzes of the food sector will also be published from different points of view, prepared by experts of recognized prestige, in addition to the reports of the conjuncture, in each of the exercises, from a global perspective and with a special attention to the evolution of agri-food activity in Castilla y León.
