1 Nov 2012- Uvesa has obtained the recognition "Commitment to Excellence" by the Government of Navarra, 
through the public entity Navarra Foundation for Excellence, within the framework of the XII 
Navarrese Day of Excellence.

The director of the processing plant of Birds of Uvesa Tudela, Mr. Pedro Sieso, has received the Diploma of commitment towards Excellence of the delegate of the Government in Navarra, Mrs. Carmén Alba, in the act held in the auditorium Fernando Remacha of the Public University of Navarra (UPNA).

In this public act, a total of 16 Navarran entities have been distinguished for achieving the different EFQM Seals of Excellence in which the European EFQM management model is divided.

Uvesa has obtained this recognition for achieving the seal of Excellence 200+ of the EFQM European management model,
 used to perfect the internal management of its organization at the level of quality and production.

Unlike the classic ISO or similar certifications, the Excellence Awards are based on the sharing of benchmarking or mutron enrichment practices between the participating organization and the evaluation team, which belong to other organizations from different sectors.
