June 2015- The Minister of agriculture and livestock of the Junta de Castilla y León, Silvia Clemente Municio, recently visited Prado-Vega, the poultry processing plant having UVESA in Cuellar.

This visit came after the incorporation of breeding Yellow Chicken Certificate to the activity of this poultry processing plant, new complete range of UVESA which provides assurance and excellence brand “Tierra de Sabor” (Land of flavour).

Mrs. Silvia Clemente, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Rural Development, Mr. María Jesus Pascual; and the mayor of Cuéllar, Jesus Garcia; and UVESA president, M. Antonio Sanchez, made a tour of the poultry processing plant, which could check the advances introduced by UVESA in this market segment, which is the second national operator. In addition, during the visit, the president of UVESA submitted to the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock of the Castilla and Leon priority projects that have been working, and especially those related to its commitment to safety food and quality, with a commitment to R & D and technology that allows the company to ensure traceability of each and every one of its products in its various facilities.
