UVESA Group has collaborated closely in the implementation and development of the first Dual Vocational Training of Agricultural Production of Middle Grade specialized in pigs of Castilla y León. This pioneer module will be taught at the Comprehensive Center of Agricultural Agrarian of Avila and is the result of the effort, involvement and collaboration between companies and entities such as FEPORCYL and Bankia Foundation for Dual Training, in addition to the permanent commitment of the Junta de Castilla y León.
In addition to previous collaboration, Grupo UVESA will make its facilities available to the training center so that its first 15 students – 12 men and three women – can develop what they have learned in a real work environment.
At the recent inauguration, the president of FEPORCYL, Miguel Ángel Ortiz, emphasized the importance of training young people in the pig sector when it comes to reversing the negative demographics of the Community. He also announced that the Federation is working to launch the Erasmus Porcino, so that these students can travel through Europe and train in the field.
