September 7, 2018.- The UVESA Group, in its commitment to the promotion of healthy habits and sports, sponsors the 3rd March against cancer together with other companies, which will be held in Tudela next Sunday, October 7. In this third edition, the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) hopes to surpass the records of other years and reach 4,000 participants.

Uvesa has collaborated again in this important solidarity action whose purpose is to obtain funds for research and the fight against cancer. All the money that is obtained with the sale of numbers will go to the project of Dr. David Escors, Navarrabiomed, who will study how It affects the aging of our defenses to cancer therapies and the possible ways to rejuvenate these defenses during treatment.

In the official presentation, which took place this Wednesday and was attended by the mayor of the city, Eneko Larrarte; the Councilor for Sports, Josean Fraile; the president of the AECC in Navarra, Francisco Arasanz; the delegate of the AECC, in Tudela, Mamen Motilva; the director of the Caja Navarra Foundation, Javier Fernández and the director of the Store Gaztambide office of CaixaBank in Tudela, Begoña Remón. and the director general of UVESA, Raúl Gómez Arra

With this support, Grupo UVESA consolidates its commitment to solidarity and reinforces its involvement in the sponsorship of events that stimulate a healthy way of life that brings together both sports and good nutrition. In fact, the Group started the year by receiving the Tudela City Council award that distinguishes those people or entities that “with their effort, perseverance, work and successes have distinguished themselves eminently in the promotion of sport in the city of Tudela” .
