From the day after the devastation caused by the DANA in Valencia and other parts of the country, UVESA Group launched a Coordination Committee composed of people from Uvesa Valencia and other departments and Directorates, in order to take measures to support both the affected employees and the Valencian society.
To date, individual contact has been made with each of the colleagues affected to find out their needs and act on the basis of them.

Some measures have already been put in place and according to needs we will extend them or implement others:
For our collaborators:
– Psychological and legal assistance has been offered to our collaborators.
– A communication has been sent to employees in Valencia informing them that people who have been affected by the DANA can request an immediate three-month advance on their salary.
– The use of a mobility app (Ciclogreen) is being offered so that employees can share a car for at least three months.
– Information is being sent to all employees via WhatsApp and the Valencia bulletin boards about grants from different institutions: – Financial aid for housing published in the BOE (Official State Gazette).
– Ayuda Terreta: connects volunteers with the needs of those affected through a real-time aid platform.
– Financial aid published by the Ministry of the Interior and the Generalitat Valenciana.
– Dana Kids grants for the care of the youngest children, allowing their families to focus on clean-up and reconstruction.
– Your Dana Car helps locate vehicles lost in the floods.
– Announcements about where to donate blood.
– Methods for financial donations for those affected through Bizum.
– Help ARVET (Agrupación Española de Empresas Exportadoras) for advice on public subsidies to deal with the damag
– Works councils and workers have asked to donate their Christmas hamper, so next week a document will be provided to those who request it.
– 50 mobile phones, donated by Movistar, will be distributed to workers who have been left incommunicado.
Other social actions:
– Three donations of cleaning products worth 22,000 euros have been made (masks, boots, buckets, dustpans, shovels, dustpans, plastic forks, gloves, scrapers, squeegees, disinfectants, buckets, aprons, T-shirts, etc.).
– The Tudela plant has sent pallets and boxes requested by Civil Protection in order to be able to send them to Valencia.
– 2,600 kilos of chicken have been sent to the Valencia Food Bank. From there it will be distributed to different institutions and NGOs, including chef José Andrés, who is distributing hot meals to people in need. Depending on what the Food Bank requests, we will send new donations.
– We have sent 1,000 bags to distribute food to the parish of Santa Maria Madre de Catarroja.
– From UVESA Group is regularly contacted with municipalities, institutions and associations in different areas to meet their needs.
From here we express our solidarity with our colleagues in Rafelbunyol and Alcàsser and with the whole Valencian Community, and we appreciate the commitment shown during these difficult times.
