In the School of Hospitality and Tourism of Alcalá de Henares and in the Hotel Escuela de Madrid they will cook the 24 final recipes of their own for the 8 categories with different chicken wakes
With the aim of encouraging the talent of future Spanish chefs, Grupo UVESA convenes for the third consecutive year the Contest Prepare your chicken recipe with teachers and students of the prestigious School of Hospitality and Tourism of Alcalá de Henares and Hotel Escuela Madrid .
With chicken as the main ingredient, students from each school have spent weeks exploring the possibilities of this bird in each of the 8 culinary categories; recipes for celebrations with sirloins, tapas with contramuslos, 22-minute express with breast, healthy living with hindquarters, for children with thighs, traditional with hindquarters, for athletes with breast and for diet with sirloin.
Five courses participate; 1º of kitchen middle class face-to-face, 2º kitchen and face-to-face gastronomy, 1º kitchen and gastronomy medium-grade DUAL, 2º of Basic cooking and 1º of management of higher-grade kitchens of both hospitality schools. The contest takes place in the facilities of each school; on Thursday, February 20 at the IES Hotel School and on Friday, February 21 at the School of Hospitality and Tourism of Alcalá de Henares.
UVESA Group provides the necessary raw material and prizes for this contest. With the best recipes will be made files and audiovisual material that will be published on the UVESA website and its social networks.
