16 marzo 2018- With the aim of encouraging the talent of the future Spanish chefs, group Uvesa has called this year the competition “Create your recipe of chicken” together with teachers, pupils and students from the prestigious  School of Catering and Tourism of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid).

The challenge, organized in collaboration with the Alcala School of Catering and Tourism School, has had weeks to 200 students of 11 courses experimented with different parts of the chicken to create the recipes of the recipes.

With chicken as a main ingredient, 200 students have been weeks working on the possibilities of this product to participate in six different categories of the competition: recipes for kids with chicken breasts, recipes for celebrations with inner-fillet, recipes for “tapas” with drumsticks, Recipes Express of 22 minutes with drumsticks, Recipes of living healthy and Recipes with a price of 1,5€ with leg quarters.

A jury composed of professors from the Centre has selected 24 finalists. Each recipe should contain a full record indicating the directions, ingredients and a photograph of the presentation.

In the Grand Final, which takes place on Wednesday, March 21, the recipes will be developed to determine the first and second prizes in each category and will proceed to the delivery of the awards that consist of boxes of knives of “Los Arcos” mark.
